quality fabric, might not be ideal fit for athletic build

i really wanted to love these shorts, i'm very hesitant about 3"ers, but often find i'm the most comfortable running in them. my difficulty is always that i'm athletic in build so my hip:waist ratio is rather low. found the waist band pinching, yet the thighs being a little gap-y. i also prefer a little bit of a higher rise, and so upon pulling the shorts up, the middle seam did create a little bit of a camel toe. don't want to sound so negative about the shorts, could imagine women with relatively smaller waists and a preference for lower rises to really thrive in these shorts.
